1. Accepting these terms
By using Tab you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. What Tab is
Tab is a personal money tracker. It records transactions, accounts, budgets, goals, shared expenses, trips and subscriptions that you enter yourself. It is a record-keeping tool, not a bank, a payment service, or a financial adviser.
3. Your data
Everything you enter stays on your device. Tab has no account system and no server that stores your records. We cannot see your data, and we cannot recover it for you if you lose your device or delete the app. Use the backup feature and keep your own copy.
4. Not financial advice
Insights, forecasts and suggestions in Tab are generated from the numbers you type in. They are informational only. They are not financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and they may be wrong. Decisions you make with your money are yours alone.
5. Accuracy
Exchange rates are provided by a third party and may be delayed or inaccurate. Receipt scanning reads text from photographs and can misread them. Always check figures against your own records and your bank before relying on them.
6. Tab Pro subscriptions
Tab Pro is an auto-renewing subscription offered monthly or yearly.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the price shown at purchase.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings at any time. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not refund the current period.
- Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
- Prices are shown in your local currency on the purchase screen and are set by the App Store for your region.
Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
7. What Pro unlocks
Free use of Tab is not time-limited. Pro adds PDF statements, payment QR codes on shared statements, additional workspaces, unlimited receipt scanning, trips, subscription tracking and currency app icons. If a subscription lapses, nothing you have recorded is deleted — those features simply stop being available.
8. Acceptable use
Do not use Tab to break the law, and do not attempt to reverse engineer, resell or redistribute it.
9. Liability
Tab is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law we are not liable for financial loss, lost data, or any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. Continuing to use Tab after an update means you accept the revised terms.
